Learning and Innovation Center (LInC)
at Oregon State University
with Bora Architects
Corvallis, Oregon

Situated in the heart of the historic Olmsted campus of Oregon State University is the Learning Innovation Center.  Housing over 2,300 classroom seats and over 600 informal learning seats, the building creates a center on campus for multi-disciplinary interaction.  The challenge was to create classrooms for large seminar classes but maintain the feel and positive learning outcomes of smaller, more intimate spaces.  Proximity to the instructor was critical to the success of the innovative classrooms. Classrooms in the round, Parliamentary style spaces, learning studios, break out, and study spaces are all found under one roof.

While working at Bora Architects, Conner designed the classroom spaces and oversaw construction of LInC.
